During the 21st century diversity and equity are have been fundamental goals of higher education and valuable resources for learning for all students across cultural differences, vital to democracy and a democratic workforce and to the global position and wellbeing of the United States. The Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) has made a firm commitment to make excellence inclusive, and to bring the benefits of education to all students is rooted deeply in commitment to a diverse, informed, and civically active society. However this session will explore the critical guiding question, has diversity reached a tipping point, if so, what are we trying to achieve?
