Accommodation to Access

The session will explore the difference between access and accommodation and how a shift in focus to access supports more inclusive and accessible learning environments for all students. The session presenters will look at a proactive collaborative model that Access Center has used to address accommodation and access issues, including feedback from faculty who engaged in this model during previous academic semesters. We will explore areas of continued challenge and positive changes that were identified from focusing on access (versus accommodation). We will offer an overview of resources that MSU Denver is putting in place to enhance campus-wide access.
